Installation Guide for PhiMart Manager Basic 1.0 (ServerVersion)

This installation guide will provide instructions on how to install PhiMart Manager Basic on your computer. PhiMart Manager is PhiMart's product upload and organization software. You can use PhiMart Manager to upload your listings with efficiency and ease.

First, you should select a good working computer to install the server version of PhiMart Manager Basic. This computer will need to host the database, and should have at least 500 MB hard drive storage, 1.5 GHz CPU and 1GB of RAM. Since we are installing the SQL Express version of the database, PhiMart Manager Basic will be faster and more efficient.

Downloading the Application:

1. Visit PhiMart Downloads to download the application.
2. Save the .exe file in a directory you'll remember. Begin the download.
3. Once the download has completed, locate the .exe file and double click to begin installation. The guide below will take you through the installation process.

Installing PhiMart Manager Basic:

Before installing, review the End User License Agreement.
You must accept the license agreement in order to continue.
You may not install PhiMart Manager if you do not agree to the terms.

Choose where the program will be installed.
By default, it is set to "Program Files" under the C: drive.
You may use a different directory if you wish.

Select "Yes" to use your current computer as the database server.
Your data must be stored on a computer server, and may be accessed from other computers.

Enter the name of your local computer.
This is needed for PhiMart Manager to locate the stored data for your listings.

PhiMart Manager will now be installed on your computer.

Restart your computer to complete the installation process.

Make sure you backup your database file everyday or regularly.
