Avatar: A picture you select that will be associated with your ID. The avatar will be displayed to you when you log-in. This is a security measure we've taken to prevent passwords from being stolen.
Business Sellers: a seller who operates an official business. An official business tax ID must be provided to verify Business Seller status. Business Sellers must also participate in the PhiMart rewards program by distributing olives to buyers.
eCash: Online currency used on PhiMart, which may be used on your product purchases.
Final Merchant Fee: The fee collected by PhiMart once your item has been sold. Please consult the fee table for actual pricing.
Listing Fee: The costs of putting your product up for sale. There are no listing fees at PhiMart.com.
Log-in ID: The nickname that you have chosen to represent yourself on PhiMart.com. Also referred to as a "user ID".
Mini Store: The personalized online store of a seller. All product listings of the seller appear in the Mini Store, and additional information about the seller and products may be displayed.
Olives: Points that may be redeemed for eCash. You earn olives through special promotional offers, writing reviews for PhiReviews.com, and buying items from Premium Sellers. eCash may be used on future purchases on products sold by Business and Premium Sellers.
PhiMart Manager Basic: PhiMart's custom software for listing and uploading your products.
Personal Sellers: A private seller with the occasional item.
Premium Sellers: PhiMart's top sellers. Premium Sellers must have a 98% satisfaction rating from buyers, and maintain $1000 in transactions per month for at least three consecutive months. Only Business Sellers may apply for Premium Seller status.
Reserve Price: The minimum price for an item that the seller is willing to accept.
Safe Guardian: PhiMart's step-by-step guide for buyers and sellers on how to protect yourself against fraud and scams.
Shill Bidding: The act of artificially inflating the price through false bids. This action is expressly forbidden.
ShopNow: A predetermined fixed price set for the product. When the seller offers a ShopNow option, the buyer can purchase the item directly and there is no bidding involved. Auctions and store products can both carry a ShopNow price.
Spoofs: E-mails or websites that purports to be an official organization (i.e., PhiMart.com) when it is actually set up by a fraudulent, unaffiliated party.
